As a teenager, he dreamed of becoming a professional athlete - he tried rugby, only to be sidelined multiple times by shoulder injuries, and then cricket, which didn’t pan out either. Not one to give up, he found an early taste of business by buying and reselling toys to his classmates, a small venture that sparked a lifelong interest in markets, trade, and entrepreneurship.
